Does anyone actually play Angry Birds anymore? Whatever. Artist Evan Roth actually had a novel idea with Angry Birds that doesn't include plush pillows and crappy TV shows. He painted all the gestures required to beat 300 levels of Angry Birds. It's beautiful smudging.

iMessage, which can be a fickle bitch sometimes, had an annoying, downright scary flaw that remained unfixed for too long: if your iPhone got stolen, the stolen phone would keep receiving messages sent via iMessage even after a remote wipe out and deactivation. That meant the thief who stole your phone, could see your messages. Apparently, it's been fixed. Thank God.

Clever iPhone App Brings Augmented Reality To Apple And Google Maps - cultofmac.com
I’ve never really been able to get behind the whole augmented reality thing. I tried it with the Yelp iPhone app once while I was on vacation in a large city, but it hasn’t really changed my life in any way. If there’s any platform I can see augmented reality really taking off, it’s on smartphones.
The developers at Crossfader have released something really cool: an augmented reality layer for Maps on the iPhone. Both Apple and Google Maps are supported, and the app itself is totally free.

We just got our hands on the HTC Droid DNA this morning, and our first impressions were very promising. The screen is really, really gorgeous. But, how gorgeous is it when you put it next to the other best smartphones?

It sure would be nice to change the order of the many calendars on the iPhone. Sadly, iOS 6 only lets you show or hide specific calendars with a tap on the calendar in question from within the Calendar app on the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
You can, however, reorder the different calendars on your iPhone, just in a different way. Here’s how.

Back in August, Square partnered with Starbucks to bring mobile payments to the coffee giant’s thousands of stores nationwide. Starbucks said that Square would be integrated into 7,000 of its stores across the U.S. by early November, and now the time has come.

As it’s coming up on the 30th anniversary of his four-book Sorcery! series, Jackson decided to bring the proto-RPG to the modern age by teaming up with development studio Inkle and releasing four new iOS gamebook apps for iPhone and iPad.
Inkle got rave reviews for interactive storybook, Frankenstein, when it released this past April. Seems like a pretty good fit for an adventure gamebook, which is like a cross between a Choose Your Own
